Devotees gather in large numbers for Hiru Uththama Dathu Vandana
Hundreds and thousands of devotees have been turning out to the historical Jethawanaramaya sacred site of Anuradhapura for Hiru Uththama Dhathu Vandana, which has been organized by HIRU FM and HIRU TV to mark Vesak celebration this year.
The sacred Relics of Kapilawastupura were brought from Waskaduwa Sri Subhuthi Temple to the Jethawanaramaya sacred premises last night.
They were placed in a special shrine by the chairman of Asia Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. Rayynor Silva this morning.
Later, the devotees were allowed to pay homage to the sacred relics.
The Chairman of the Asia Broadcasting Corporation Mr.Rayynor Silva also distributed the morning meal and religious souvenirs among the devotees.
Hundreds and thousands of devotees have been arriving at the historical Jethawanaramaya sacred site to pay homage to the sacred Relics of Kapilawastu.
Asia Broadcasting Corporation has made arrangement to provide every facility for the visiting devotees in the temple premises.
The exhibition of Kapilawastu sacred relics will be held at Jethawanaramaya until early morning on Wednesday.
