Preparations completed for Hiru Shakya Sinha Mangalyaya at Ruwanweli Seya
Preparations are completed to hold the Hiru Shakya Sinha Mangalyaya organized by the Asia Broadcasting Corporation led by Hiru TV and Hiru FM of to mark Vesak this year, at the Ruwanweli Maha Saya in Anuradhapura.
Devotees who visit Anuradhapura worship Ruwanweli Maha Saya irrespective of it being day or night.
However, the heat in the afternoon makes it difficult for devotees when they visit the Ruwanweli Saya.
And arrangements are made to provide rugs for the benefit of devotees.
A Samadhi Buddha Statue and a Dolos Mahe Pahana will also be offered to this sacred place.
And for the first time in South Asia, an offering of lights will be done using light projectors tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Hiru Uttama Dhatu Wandana, the exposition of Kapilawasthu Relics, will commence on Monday at the Jethawanaramaya in Anuradhapura.
Hiru FM and Hiru TV of the Asia Broadcasting Corporation have completed preparation activities to accommodate the devotees arriving at the temple to worship the sacred relics.
At the same time, the digital pandol displayed by Hiru FM and Hiru TV for the 6th consecutive year can now be viewed from any country in the world.
This online pandol will depict the Mahilamukha Jathakaya.
